When was the Milestone Cricket Ambassadorship Programme established?
Milestone was established in 2020. Our Ambassadorship program followed shortly after. Since then, our team and leadership have worked tirelessly to make the ambassador program a world class project, with a crucial impact on cricketers around the country. We celebrate the unparalleled growth of this initiative whilst realizing the best is yet to come!
What are my responsibilities as a Milestone Cricket Ambassador?
1. Proudly represent Milestone with unwavering honour and integrity, embodying the values of the Gentleman’s game of cricket.
2. Supporting Brand Initiatives: The ambassador player should support and actively participate in Milestone's initiatives Henceforth to only purchase Milestone gear and equipment.
3. To post performances on social media & promoting Milestone within your sphere of influence.
4. The player must wholeheartedly embrace the responsibility of promoting the brand in a positive light, leveraging the player’s platform and influence to inspire others and to advance the image of the brand.
5. The player must refrain from signing any other deal/contract with a brand other than Milestone.
6. The player may not promote or advertise any other cricket brand.
7. Adhere to the requirement of a Minimum Order Quantity when acquiring gear, to fully activate discount.
8. Competing with Integrity and Playing wholeheartedly. To embody the sportsmanship of the game we all love.
9. Utilizing our online platform to communicate and interact with Milestone.
How does shipping/courier work when products are ordered?
Via professional national courier services such as CourierGuy/Postnet etc. all ordered equipment is delivered to your doorstep or to your town. Comfortability and convenience are at the forefront of what we do. You can personally track your order every step of the way with a tracking number.
To which players does Milestone provide Ambassadorships?
We reward Ambassadorships to exceptional talent. Our criteria is based on competency and a rigorous analysis is conducted to evaluate the potential of a player. Current & historical statistics, the full cricket CV and performance off the field, are all aspects that the Ambassadorship Committee reviews.
Milestone Cricket also pays attention to players with extraordinary stories. The brand was started with a passion for cricket, and we admire journeys where cricket elevated individuals to strive beyond limiting socio-economic circumstances. What payment options are available when I purchase gear?
You can pay securely online via: Visa and Mastercard credit cards, cheque cards and debit cards, Instant EFTs (via Internet Banking), Mobicred, Masterpass, SCode, RCS Store Cards, SnapScan and Zapper. Your information security and integrity is our number one priority.
What happens if my bat breaks?
Milestone takes extraordinary effort to ensure only the highest quality Willow are sourced. Additionally, we work meticulously to prepare your bat, to ensure well-compressed wood, sturdy handles And long lasting blades. Unfortunately approximately 15% of all cricket bats break. It’s a worldwide natural side effect of a
natural materials such as wood. All newly sold bats come with a six month bat warranty. In our Bat Warranty document, a detailed description and list is outlined, to explain in which instances we will replace your bat free of charge, when a breakage occur.
Can I renew my contact when it expires?
Within the contract a date of conclusion is indicated. After the contract ends, a player may apply to extend the current contract, or to upgrade the Ambassadorship level to the next tier. Milestone awards preference to players previously
ambassador. Naturally, good performance, brand promotion and higher cricket accomplishments will strongly count in favour of the player.
Can I upgrade my contract?
As indicated in the contract, players are allowed to apply for an upgraded contract before the conclusion of the current one. This option is only available when a player has advanced their cricket career significantly or transitioned to a higher ranking team. An application for such an upgrade can be made via e-mail to Ambassadorships@milestonecricket.com.
Can I become a reseller for Milestone?
Milestone does appoint designated agents to resell Milestone gear. Renumeration takes place on a commission basis. Milestone supports the resellers with skills development, marketing material and brand information. We are eager to partner with institutions and individuals to extend market reach and develop the
game of cricket. Strict qualification criteria exist for a successful application.
It should be clearly distinguished that a reseller programme is completely different from the Ambassadorship Programme. Occasionally confused, these two are not the same. Please refer to the relevant tab on our website for more information, and prerequisites for acceptance.
What criteria does Milestone consider when selecting ambassadors?

7. Other relevant factors, as decided from time-to-time, by the Ambassadorship Committee.
Can I still be part of the Ambassador Program if I have other Ambassadorships?
No, the player may not sign another Ambassadorship contract, deal, Letter of Intent or Memorandum of Understanding with another cricket brand. Milestone expects a serious commitment towards the brand, as we are dedicated to continuously serve and financially support your cricket career. Certain exceptions are permissible, for example agreements with a representative cricket agency or clothing brand.
Is there an age limit to be part of the Ambassador Program?
As long as the eligibility criteria, which is to play cricket on a certain level of competency, is met no additional age requirement is necessary.
What is the time period of an Ambassadorship program?
The average length of a contract is between 1 and 1.5 years. They're after the player may apply to the renew or upgrade the agreement. Preference he showcased two players who showcased exemplary contact and quality cricket during their Ambassadorship tenure.
Is the Ambassadorship program aimed at long term investment in a player?
Yes. Milestone would absolutely prefer to walk a long journey with each player. Our goal is to Provide extensive support over a substantial time period. We are just as committed to your future cricket as you are!
Is the Ambassador Program limited to players from specific countries or regions?
No players from all around the globe, are welcome to apply. Milestone is predominantly a local brand, and therefore preference will be awarded to South African players. And subsequently the players from SADC countries (Southern African Development Countries).
